What Do My Clients Want To See on Instagram?

The power of story is incredible.

When it comes to creating content for your brand’s Instagram feed, it can seem daunting.  What do you post? How do you take a quality photo? How much is too much to share? And on and on the questions could go.

Instagram is an incredible place to reach new clients, and it’s important to give them a good snapshot (pun intended!) of your brand right away in your feed.

One aspect that we often forget about (or that we are intimidated by!) is that people want to see the face behind the brand. They want to know who they are working with and what they’re about! 

Here are two things to consider how to connect on a more personal level with your clients : 

  1. have a photo of your face in the top 9 photos of your grid at all times

    Sharing a photo of yourself or your team allows your clients to recognize who they are working with. It can show personality and a bring that personal aspect to your brand. 

  2. Instagram stories are your friend!

    Since they don’t require the curated look that your feed does, there is freedom in sharing behind the scenes glimpses and a place to connect on a different level with your followers. The best part? You can choose if they live on your feed forever or if you want them to disappear in 24 hours. 

Speak to the clients on Instagram that you want to attract.

There’s a high possibility that this audience includes your current clients, but it also acts as an invitation to clients that you want to work with. If you engage with them on social media and they resonate with the brand that you are communicating, there’s a high chance that you’ll end up working with them!
