I'm Emily, and that blonde bombshell next to me is Jessica!
Just by you visiting this site, we already know one thing about you. You're busy. You're juggling a lot all at once, and sometimes you just wish you had an extra set of hands to reply to emails, run to the craft store, or even grab you some coffee (can I get an amen?!). Maybe you know others with interns, or have even thought about it yourself, but the whole process feels overwhelming so you push it to the backburner. Or maybe your business is pretty new, you don't have an office space, or you think you don't have the money (peek into the course: Interns can work for free!).
We are here to tell you to kick those fears to the curb! Jessica and I have had interns every semester (including summer) for over 3 years now, and because of their help, our businesses have grown by leaps and bounds.
WE WANT THE SAME FOR YOU, SO WE HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING WE HAVE LEARNED, AND EVERY TOOL WE HAVE USED, AND BUNDLED IT ALL UP JUST FOR YOU.
WHAT'S IS THIS COURSE ALL ABOUT?

Interns 101 is a complete 3 phase e-course that takes you through the process of finding, hiring, and managing a college intern. We have taken all the guess-work out of the process and given you a step-by-step guide (along with worksheets, email scripts, a handbook, and more) that you can use for years to come. The best part is, all of our interns have been unpaid. They work in exchange for college course credit. It's a win for you (basically a part-time employee working with you for free) and a win for them (They get class credit and invaluable experience in a field they are interested in. Experience that will undoubtedly help them when they enter the working world.)
Upon signing up, you get immediate access to the 3-phase e-course, all printable worksheets, and video modules from Emily and Jessica.

"Interns 101 changed my life as a business owner. Before taking Emily and Jessica's class, I was always stressed with too much to do and not enough time to make it happen. I was desperate for help but didn't have the money nor the resources to hire someone. Then I found Interns 101! This course teaches you everything you need to know and gives you the confidence to go out and hire an intern. Since completing the course, I have had multiple interns that then turned into being paid employees. Thanks to intern 101 I now have a team of 6 and my business has skyrocketed. I can not recommend this course enough!"

“My internship with Emily and Jessica was truly a one of a kind experience. These two were the best bosses anyone could ever hope to intern for! The biggest thing I learned from the internship was how to successfully form an idea and run with it to produce something bigger than I ever thought I was capable of doing. They helped me discover skills I didn’t realize were important and how to use them in my daily life. These two ladies successfully run their own small businesses and have shown me the ropes of working with clients, designing and managing projects, as well as just giving me daily reminders of how when you’re truly passionate about something, always go follow your dreams. This internship was a wonderful experience and I feel that it has prepared me well for my future professional career and I can’t thank them enough for all the support they gave me.”

I’m a wedding and social stationer serving clients here in Alabama and everywhere else! Most mornings, I pour a hot cup from my French press, turn on a good podcast, and settle in on designing a custom monogram or typesetting one of my wedding suites. My dog Maybelle is usually sleeping in my lap! I love my Auburn Tigers. You can find me and my fiance, Tyler, at every home football game! Most evenings, I come home from the studio to cook a good meal, and tune into the latest binge-worthy show.
Do I have to have an office space to have an intern?
Not at all! We have had interns in our homes and have met at coffee shops a few days a week. Depending on the work you need done, your intern can even work remotely, and check in through email, skype, and phone calls.
What if I can't afford to have an intern?
That's the exciting part! Most interns will work for college course credit, so for you it's absolutely free. They are compensated with the credit from their school, and the invaluable experience they will gain from you in a field they are interested in.
How do I know what to give an intern?
We provide printable worksheet for you to share with your intern at the beginning of every week to give your internship structure. We also give you worksheet to help discover what you actually need + want to be taken off of your plate, so you know what to look for in an intern. (Hint: it may not be an intern in your exact field!)
